Dark spot questions

How can I brighten the look of dark spots the Moroccan way?

Follow the hammam ritual consistently: cleanse with the Brightening Nila Soap, exfoliate with the kessa glove and Nila scrub, then apply the Nila & Argan Brightening Mask. Removing dead skin and nourishing the skin helps dark spots and uneven tone look softer over time; results vary from person to person.

Can I use the Nila & Argan Brightening Mask on my face?

Yes. The mask is suitable for all skin types and can be used on the face as well as the body. Apply a thin layer after exfoliation, leave it for 7 to 10 minutes and remove it gently with a cotton pad soaked in water; patch test first.

Do I need sunscreen while using a brightening ritual?

Yes. Sun exposure can make dark spots look darker, so apply SPF every day on exposed skin, especially on the face, while using a brightening ritual.

Does Nila whiten or bleach the skin?

No. Arganlys rituals are about brightening: helping skin look radiant and more even in tone. They do not bleach or change your natural skin colour.

How often should I use the brightening mask?

Use the mask after exfoliation, when skin is clean and ready to absorb it, for example after your Nila scrub, which is used 2 to 3 times a week.

Is the ritual safe during pregnancy or for sensitive skin?

Do a patch test on a small area before first use: the Brightening Nila Soap contains fragrance. If you are pregnant, or have eczema, broken skin or very reactive skin, ask your doctor or dermatologist before starting a new routine.
